Foxbrim Orange Blossom Water Toner
Foxbrim isn’t a name that’s very familiar in the UK, as it’s a brand from the US that (at the moment) we seem to only be able to purchase on Amazon or eBay. This is a shame, but they are gaining many great reviews on Amazon for this toner and for more of their products. Perhaps this will lead to other online retail sites in the future. Foxbrim’s ethos (from their website):
“We are passionate about providing premium natural and organic products (and ingredients) and will not offer animal based or animal tested products”
I bought their Orange Blossom Water Toner from Amazon, and have been testing it out for the past couple of weeks. Toners are often seen as unnecessary in a skincare routine. Many people believe that their cleanser should be doing all the work of cleaning the skin and therefore a toner is redundant. I do like to use a toner, however. I find them really refreshing and I feel like they remove any traces of cleanser that may be left over. This is particularly true if using a thicker oil or balm-based cleanser.
Foxbrim’s Orange Blossom Water Toner has, as can be expected by the name, a slightly citrusy but mainly floral scent. It’s not unpleasant but if you are not in to floral scents this might not be the right product for you. It works very well though to gently cut through any grease.
It removes any remaining product on the skin to leave it soft, gently moisturised and superbly clean.
I also love the packaging. It comes in a beautiful glass bottle with a striking orange label. On another note, I was impressed with the customer service I received from Foxbrim. I emailed them to double check the vegan credentials of this particular product and found them helpful and courteous.
